Introduction to Bearing Dust Seal Ring

2024-03-11

Bearing dust seal ring

The lifespan of sealed bearings largely depends on their sealing performance. The commonly used bearing sealing ring is a folded edge skeleton, which generally relies on hand pressure to fit the cover. The main drawbacks are poor elastic strength, poor assembly performance, and poor sealing performance.

The dust seal ring of the bearing adopts a hook shaped curled edge structure, which has the following advantages compared to existing technologies:

Good sealing performance and high sealing strength are due to the hook shaped curled edge structure of the skeleton, which effectively increases the elasticity of the sealing ring and compensates for the influence of tooth size deviation to the maximum extent. It not only relies on the elasticity of the sealing elastic body, but also the elasticity and strength generated by the curled edge structure, improving the qualification rate of the cover and can be machine pressed, which can effectively compress. Choosing engine lubricating oil is crucial for achieving the best results

Engine lubricating oil is the most critical element to ensure normal engine operation and prolong engine life. Its three major functions of lubrication, cooling, and cleaning are powerful weapons for solving problems such as heat generated during engine operation, wear between components, and metal particles.

So when using engine lubricating oil, don't be careless and don't pay a big price just because you can't bear to spend a little money.

It is understood that engine lubricating oil is divided into gasoline engine oil, diesel engine oil, and gasoline diesel dual-use oil according to the different fuels used in the vehicle. The level of gasoline engine oil is mainly determined by the viscosity and condensation point of the oil. With the continuous improvement of automobile processing accuracy, the era of relying on high viscosity engine oil to achieve sealing effect and fill gaps has become history. The use of low viscosity engine oil has become a trend. Low viscosity engine oil not only has the characteristics it already has, but also reduces fuel consumption and improves economic performance due to its smaller viscosity resistance, which can better achieve environmental protection goals.

So how can we choose oil based on the vehicle model and season to achieve the best results?

Firstly, in winter, due to the thermal expansion and contraction effect, there is a tendency for gaps to shrink, which increases the wear of moving parts. At the same time, the oil also thickens due to low temperature, reduces its fluidity, and the heating time is longer, which will further exacerbate wear and cause poor vehicle starting performance. Therefore, in winter, low viscosity and low condensation point oil should be chosen. Secondly, due to the different heat dissipation effects of different engines, it is necessary to choose appropriate engine oil of the same grade according to the requirements of the car manufacturer. Again, for vehicles with turbocharged and intercooled systems, higher grade engine oil should be used to reduce wear and prolong service life. Finally, the selection of oil should be based on the oil change mileage, with the aim of being both economical and meeting usage requirements. In addition, it is important to remember that lubricating oil products from different brands cannot be mixed. Before replacement, run for 3-5 minutes to improve fluidity and ensure a reduction in residue.
