There are two common solutions to the noise of slewing bearings, namely dust and scratch, as follows:
1. Control method of dust sound
If there are foreign objects such as dust inside the rotary support, non periodic oscillations will occur. The so-called dust sound, whose oscillation and noise size are uncertain and may or may not exist.
Control method for dust noise: Improve the cleaning method of the slewing bearing/rotary table bearing, and strictly clean all bearings, shafts, seat holes, and matching parts before installation; Remove foreign objects from the smoothing agent; Improve the sealing of bearings; Avoid using plastic cages with impure materials or embedded foreign objects.
2. Control method for scar sound
If there are cracks, indentations, or rust on the rolling surface of the slewing bearing, periodic oscillation and noise like riveting rivets will occur. The period may be fixed but mostly corresponds to the rotational speed. The scars will continue to occur on the channel, and the scars will disappear and appear on the steel ball, and this noise will vary with the device and smooth conditions. The control method for this type of noise: Do not strike the bearings during installation, and avoid tilting the bearings when assembling them with the shaft and then installing them into the bearing seat; Avoid bearing corrosion during inventory and avoid shock oscillation during transportation; Use high viscosity smooth grease.
3.Noise caused by smoothing factors and its countermeasures. Incorrect selection of smoothing agents, insufficient smoothing agents, or aging and hardening can all cause oscillation and noise in the slewing bearing/rotary table bearing, and this noise has no certain pattern. Regarding this situation, as long as a suitable smoothing agent is selected, its smoothing dosage is adjusted, the service life of the smoothing agent is extended, and the replacement cycle is reasonably determined.
4. Noise related to the host and its countermeasures
This type of noise is not solely caused by bearings, so it is ineffective to search for the cause solely from the bearings. Comprehensive attention should be paid to the main engine, and if necessary, the function of the main engine should be improved. This article mainly discusses the common buzzing and frame resonance sounds in electric motors. The buzzing sound of the A motor and its countermeasures. Axial oscillation of the motor shaft can cause significant high-frequency noise - buzzing sound, which has the same frequency as the axial oscillation frequency and can be either unchanged or changed. The method to avoid buzzing is the same as to avoid axial oscillation. When the axial natural oscillation of the outer ring mass system causes the axial bending natural oscillation of the bearing frame, a noise called resonance sound occurs. The method of adding pre tightening can improve the axial natural frequency of the outer ring mass system, damage resonance conditions, and reduce noise.
