The similarities between self-aligning roller bearings and deep groove ball bearings:
Mainly capable of withstanding radial loads and a small portion of axial loads.
Differences between self-aligning roller bearings and deep groove ball bearings:
1. Deep groove ball bearings have a higher limit speed, relatively larger axial load bearing capacity, and relatively smaller radial load bearing capacity;
2. The maximum speed of self-aligning roller bearings is not as high as that of deep groove ball bearings, and they can hardly withstand axial loads, but their radial load bearing capacity is relatively large.
The basis for selecting self-aligning roller bearings and deep groove ball bearings:
Under low speed and heavy load conditions, self-aligning roller bearings are preferred, while under high speed and light load conditions, deep groove ball bearings are preferred.
