If there are already symptoms of poor performance, it is necessary to replace them. Poor oil seals can cause damage to the bearings, resulting in abnormal bearing cloud shape and equipment shutdown. So before inspecting the bearings, we should first clean the surface of the bearings and then remove the parts around the bearings. Attention everyone, oil seals are very fragile parts, so special care should be taken during inspection and disassembly to avoid excessive force and damage to the parts. Then carefully inspect the oil seal and surrounding parts of the bearing, and secondly, we also need to check the lubricant of the bearing.

1. Bearing maintenance: In order to maintain the original performance of bearings in good condition for as long as possible, it is necessary to carry out maintenance and repair to prevent accidents, ensure reliable operation, and improve consumption and economy. It is best to follow the operating standards of the corresponding machinery for daily maintenance, and stop it regularly. The content includes monitoring the operation status, supplementing or replacing the lubricant, and conducting regular disassembly inspections. The maintenance items during operation include bearing rotation sound, vibration, temperature, and the condition of the lubricant.

2. Bearing maintenance: Bearing cleaning: When disassembling the bearing for maintenance, first record the appearance of the bearing, confirm the residual amount of the lubricant, take a sample to check the lubricant used, and then wash the bearing. As a cleaning agent, gasoline and kerosene are commonly used. The cleaning of dismantled bearings can be divided into coarse cleaning and fine cleaning. They should be placed in containers respectively, and a metal mesh pad should be placed at the bottom to prevent the bearings from directly contacting the dirt in the container. During rough cleaning, if the bearing is rotated with dirt, it will damage the rolling surface of the bearing, and attention should be paid. In the crude cleaning oil, use a brush to remove smooth grease and adhesive substances. After roughly cleaning, proceed to fine cleaning. Fine cleaning refers to carefully cleaning the bearings while rotating them in cleaning oil. In addition, cleaning oil should also be regularly maintained.

3. Maintenance and discrimination of bearings: In order to determine whether the dismantled bearings can be used, they should be inspected after being cleaned. Check the condition of the raceway surface, rolling surface, and mating surface, as well as the wear condition of the support frame, the increase in bearing clearance, and any damage caused by irrelevant dimensional accuracy drops, and any abnormalities. For non separable small ball bearings, use one hand to support the inner ring and rotate the outer ring to confirm fluency.
