Vibrating screen is a commonly used mining machinery, in which bearings play a very important role. 1、 Common causes of bearing lockup in vibrating screens

1. Poor lubrication

Delayed oil injection, blocked oil pipes, or deteriorated lubricating oil can cause bearing lockup.

The incorrect installation size or model of the bearing causes it to malfunction and cause the bearing to lock up.

3. Wear and clearance reduction of bearings

Due to operation at high temperatures, high speeds, and heavy loads, the wear of the bearing and the increase in temperature of the inner ring of the bearing result in an increase in thermal expansion, leading to a decrease in the radial working clearance of the bearing and causing it to lock up.

1. Add lubricating oil in a timely manner, keep the oil pipe unobstructed, and use lubricating oil within the shelf life.

3、 Steps for correctly installing the vibrating screen bearings

1. Clean the bearings and their associated parts to maintain their cleanliness.

(1) Installation of cylindrical hole vibrating screen bearings

Method 1: Press in with a press, which is the method used for small bearings. It involves placing a pad into the inner ring and then using a press to press the bearing into the inner ring to the shaft shoulder.

Method 2: Hot installation, which is a method used for large bearings. The hot installation method is to heat and expand the bearings in oil to easily install them on the shaft. This method not only takes a short time but also does not have any external force on the bearings.

(2) Installation of cone hole vibrating screen bearings

Method 1: Directly fix the inner ring on the conical shaft.

Method 2: Install the bearing onto the cylindrical shaft using a fastening sleeve and a dismantling sleeve.

4. Add lubricating oil.

The method of adding lubricating oil varies for different bearings. General bearings, added directly without cleaning; For instrument bearings and high speed bearings, first wash off the rust inhibitor on the bearings with clean oil, and then add lubricating oil; Bearings with added lubricating oil do not require the addition of lubricating oil.
