Self aligning roller bearings have double row rollers, with one shared spherical raceway on the outer ring and two raceways on the inner ring that are tilted at an angle relative to the bearing axis. This ingenious structure enables it to have automatic centering performance, making it less susceptible to errors or shaft bending caused by the angle between the shaft and the bearing housing. It is suitable for situations where installation errors or shaft bending cause angle errors. This bearing can withstand radial direction
This bearing can not only withstand radial loads, but also axial loads acting in both directions.
There are two types of inner holes for self-aligning roller bearings: cylindrical and conical. The taper of the conical hole is 1:30 and 1:12. This type of conical inner hole bearing is equipped with a locking sleeve or a detachable sleeve, which can easily and quickly assemble the conical inner hole self-aligning ball bearing on the optical shaft or stepped machine shaft.

Usage of self-aligning roller bearings
Main applicable cages: stamped steel plate reinforced cages (suffix E, rarely found in China). Stamped steel plate type cage (suffix CC), glass fiber reinforced polyamide 66 cage (suffix TVPB), and machined brass two-piece cage (suffix MB). Machined brass integral cages (suffix CA), stamped steel plate cages for vibration applications (suffix JPA). Brass cage for vibration situations (suffix EMA). The same structure may have different codes on the bearings.
Main uses: papermaking machinery, reduction devices, railway vehicle axles, bearing seats for steel rolling mill gearboxes, steel rolling mill rollers, crushers, vibrating screens, printing machinery, woodworking machinery, various industrial reducers, vertical centering bearings with seats.

Measurement and adjustment of radial clearance
To ensure that the radial clearance reserved for the radial thermal expansion of the inner ring, roller, and shaft during operation is not too large or too small, and to prevent changes in installation clearance in the later stage, the following measurements should be taken. When the specified installation clearance cannot be reached, gradually adjust it to the specified installation clearance according to the normal installation method.
The bearing installed using the A heating method requires the shaft to be isothermal with the bearing and the installation clearance to be measured again.
Before installing the lock washer, measure the installation clearance again.
When replacing the oil pressure nut with a locking nut, measure the installation clearance again.
After unloading the oil pressure of the injection pump, measure the installation clearance again.

(1) Pressing method for inner ring of self-aligning roller bearing
Use locking nuts, end caps, end caps, or oil pressure nuts to directly press the bearing onto the conical shaft A;
Use locking nuts or oil pressure nuts to directly press the bearing onto the B set sleeve;
Use a locking nut or oil pressure nut on the shaft to press the C disassembly sleeve to install the bearing.
