There are many reasons for the wear of high-temperature fan bearings, which can be summarized as follows:

1. Normal fatigue wear of metals is an inherent characteristic of the metal itself;

2. Matching relationship issue: No matter how high the machining accuracy is during the machining process, parts can never achieve 100% matching of the component's mating surface. From a microscopic perspective, the metal's mating surface can only achieve 30-50%, so the small stress surface of the mating part is also one of the fundamental reasons for metal fatigue wear;

3. Installation problem: During the installation process, the installation position of the bearing cannot be well controlled or the clearance of the bearing cannot be effectively controlled, resulting in the bearing not being in an optimal state during operation. As a result, the running resistance increases, the temperature increases, and more torque is applied to the mating surface, causing relative movement between the bearing inner race and the shaft surface, causing wear and tear on the shaft.

4. Operation and maintenance issues: including poor lubrication of bearings, blockage of cooling system causing high operating temperature, loosening of fastening devices, etc.

For a long time, the solutions to the wear of high-temperature fan bearings have been the following: repair welding and processing, brush plating, thermal spraying, repair welding machine processing, and thermal spraying repair processes cannot be implemented online. Although brush plating can achieve online repair, the requirements for wear depth are relatively strict. Is there a better solution besides this?
