As the basic crushing equipment, the jaw crusher often crushes hard rocks and other materials, and wear and tear cannot be avoided. Therefore, after long-term use of the equipment, disassembly and maintenance are also inevitable

Unreasonable disassembly of a large jaw crusher can easily damage the bearing cavity of the movable jaw body. To reduce maintenance time, users can refer to the following disassembly steps for the movable jaw body of the jaw crusher.

1. Before disassembling the movable jaw body, first remove the pulley, flywheel, and sail frame support, and then place the movable jaw body on the bracket and support it securely, and then remove the upper movable jaw pressure cover.

2. The eccentric shaft end generally has a cap screw hole at the shaft end. Install a lifting ring on this screw hole (which can be disassembled on scrapped motors), and pull the chain hoist onto the ring. At the same time, it should be noted that the chain hoist and the eccentric shaft should be kept on the same vertical centerline as much as possible.

3. Make a bracket for placing the moving jaw, with the length and width of the bracket determined by the size of the cleaned moving jaw; The height of the bracket should be greater than the length extended by the eccentric shaft on one side of the movable jaw; The support structure must be firm and reliable, with the standard of not shaking by hand after placing the movable jaw.

4. Install a lifting hook above the support of the movable jaw, and the distance between the hook and the plane on the support must be greater than the sum of the width dimension of the movable jaw, the length dimension of the eccentric shaft, and the small working height dimension of the chain hoist. The hook is mainly used for hanging chain hoists.

5. Heat the cutting tools used for cutting steel plates on the corresponding bearing positions of the moving jaw (using bottled acetylene gas to maintain the uninterrupted heating process), and the heating must be uniform. Do not stay in a certain position for a long time and damage the moving jaw. The heating time is generally controlled within 40-50 minutes. It should be noted that the heating time for the upper bearing position should be slightly longer.

6. After the heating is completed, pulling the chain hoist can easily lift the eccentric shaft and bearing out of the bearing cavity of the movable jaw body, completing the disassembly process of the movable jaw body.

In the daily use of large jaw crushers, it is necessary to take care of them, maintain them in a timely manner, reduce equipment failure rates, and also reduce the number of disassembly times of the crusher's mechanical jaw.
